Howdy i am using the new smartthings app.
Samsung smartthings multipurpose sensor garage door not working.
So i logged into the website and updated the type to smartsense garage door multi.
Move it closer to the hub or extend the range of your network using repeaters.

I have v3 st hub the myq hub s model is myq g0301 and i am using a st multipurpose sensor.

I added the multipurpose sensor but there was no option to change this to garage door mode.
If your smartthings multipurpose sensor or smartsense multi is stuck in a particular state there are a few options you can try to correct it.
If your zigbee device is not working with your hub be sure to check the power to the device and the hub s network connection.
After that it is always showing open.
The smartthings multipurpose sensor is great for monitoring doors windows cabinets or any off limits area.
The battery is 77 or at least that is what is reported.
Also i noticed that this sensor is always reporting incorrect temperature right now it is showing 808.
All the sensors are within 30 40 feet of the hub i have tried repairing the sensors turned off hub for 15 minutes but noting seems to correct this issue.
