Samsung French Door Refrigerator Door Flap Problem

This appears to be a common long standing samsung problem but haven t found a fix online.

The problem is not with the door or the door hinges itself. Periodically the ice maker flap in the door will cycle continously opening and closing. Appears to be wire harness issue. That door is the one with the little flap on it that allows the 2 doors to seal in the middle of the fridge.

If when you open the left hand door the mullion flap. Nothing seems to reliably work to stop it opening closing door pushing ice water dispenser buttons tried everything i can think of. Left side french door flap on samsung refrigerator didn t retract when closing. The flap on the fridge ice dispenser cycles open closed endlessly. Unpluggin fridge waited close to a minute. I stopped into my go to appliance repair shop to ask about what might be needed to repair the problem with my refrigerator door.
